Oaks & Weald Workforce Ltd does not employ, engage, manage, supervise or direct any worker introduced through the platform. All professionals introduced through Oaks & Weald Workforce operate as independent self-employed contractors conducting business on their own account.
Nothing contained within our website, communications, introductions, agreements or services shall create or imply an employment relationship between Oaks & Weald Workforce Ltd and any professional introduced to a client. Professionals introduced through Oaks & Weald Workforce are not employees, workers, agents, partners or representatives of Oaks & Weald Workforce Ltd.
Vetting and Suitability. Unless expressly stated otherwise in writing, Oaks & Weald Workforce Ltd does not guarantee, warrant or represent that any professional has been vetted, screened, referenced, qualified, licensed, insured or approved for any particular service. Clients are solely responsible for carrying out any checks they consider necessary, including but not limited to: Identity verification. Reference checks. Qualifications. Experience. Insurance verification. Criminal records checks. Right to work checks. Clients should satisfy themselves that any professional introduced is suitable for their particular requirements.
Taxes and Financial Responsibilities. Each professional introduced through Oaks & Weald Workforce is solely responsible for:
* Income Tax
* National Insurance Contributions
* VAT registration obligations
* HMRC reporting requirements
* Accounting and bookkeeping obligations
* Pension arrangements
* Any other personal or business taxes
Oaks & Weald Workforce Ltd does not operate PAYE and does not make tax deductions on behalf of any professional.
Holidays and Sick Pay. Professionals introduced through Oaks & Weald Workforce are not entitled to:
* Paid annual leave
* Holiday pay
* Statutory Sick Pay
* Maternity pay
* Paternity pay
* Workplace pensions
* Employee benefits
Professionals are responsible for arranging and funding their own holidays, absences and periods of sickness
Insurance
Professionals are solely responsible for obtaining and maintaining any insurance required for the services they provide, including but not limited to:
* Public Liability Insurance
* Professional Indemnity Insurance
* Vehicle Insurance
* Tool and Equipment Insurance
Clients are encouraged to request evidence of insurance directly from the professional before work commences.
Health and Safety. Professionals remain solely responsible for:
* Their own health and safety
* Risk assessments
* Safe working practices
* Appropriate use of equipment
* Personal protective equipment
* Compliance with applicable laws and regulations
Oaks & Weald Workforce Ltd accepts no responsibility for accidents, injuries, losses or damages arising from work undertaken by independent professionals.
Travel and Expenses. Professionals are solely responsible for:
* Travel arrangements
* Fuel costs
* Parking charges
* Accommodation expenses
* Meals and subsistence costs
* Vehicle maintenance costs
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Oaks & Weald Workforce Ltd shall not be liable for any loss, damage, injury, claim, dispute or expense arising out of services performed by any independent professional introduced through the platform.
Any agreement for services is entered into directly between the client and the professional.
Oaks & Weald Workforce Ltd is not a party to any contract for services entered into between clients and professionals.
